Drawing.
I wouldn’t necessarily say I have outgrown it or even lost interest, but it has been a long time since I have drawn anything. The last drawing I attempted was a year ago and it was simply to see where I was even at I was actually inspired by the trend on IG of artists redrawing older pieces that motivated me to do so. While I didn’t even finish the piece, I was genuinely proud of the progress I have made over the years.
As I have said before, I never lost interest or outgrew it. The reality is I only have so many hours a day to get things done, and, typically, that time is taken up by other things. Whether that’s responsibilities like work and/or chores, or I am more invested in one of my other hobbies such as crochet or reading. My main problem is that all of my hobbies require all of my attention. If I am doing any of them, I can’t do anything else unless it requires just listening.
