QotD is a feature dedicated to answering questions from Piccadilly’s 5 Year Question a Day Memory Journal. The journal states its purpose is to help reflect back on daily routine and to act as a “time capsule” of experiences. As someone who laments their awful memory, I thought this was a wonderful tool and opportunity.
When was the last time you did something special for someone?
I actually had to think about this because I don’t typically think of my favors as favors. For example, yesterday my dad called to ask for help running errands because he had to put his car in the shop. I didn’t think twice, I didn’t consider it an inconvenience, and I was happy to help. My parents are always helping me so I would gladly do the same. Especially considering I don’t know how much longer they will be around.
So honestly, I am not sure how to answer this question because I am not sure what acts I have done recently would be considers ‘something special.’ Maybe I should make more of an effort?
