QotD is a feature dedicated to answering questions from Piccadilly’s 5 Year Question a Day Memory Journal. The journal states its purpose is to help reflect back on daily routine and to act as a “time capsule” of experiences. As someone who laments their awful memory, I thought this was a wonderful tool and opportunity.
What do you want to be different about this year?
My first response feels like a cliché, cop out answer if I am being honest. I genuinely just want less stress. My mental health hasn’t been the best the past few years because of…reasons. However, I think this year could really be the year to bring it back. I already am in a better state mentally because of my job change as well as my partner’s (it’s so nice to have a house spouse.) I also have been trying to be more proactive about my health and whatnot. I even have a consistent exercise routine. I feel like I am adulting fairly well. I am hoping that the changes will lead to better mental health.
